About Dive In Festival
The Clear Company and the Dive In Festival share a common goal: to build a future where belonging is the foundation of success. Through our Local Festival Partner role and our active participation in this year’s agenda, we are dedicated to making this vision a reality.
This year’s festival, which takes place on 22nd-24th September, is focused on the theme, ‘The human gAIn: Powering culture and connection’.
Over the course of the three days, organisations from across the insurance sector will explore how to strengthen the human systems that make businesses thrive, and design cultures that connect people in the digital age.

The Inclusive Leader: Building a Culture of Belonging
The role of leaders in creating a culture of belonging cannot be underestimated. In this session, our own Kate Headley, alongside a panel of representatives from KPMG, Asta, Lloyd’s of London and The Hartford, delved into the pivotal role that leaders play in cultivating an inclusive environment where every individual feels valued and empowered to contribute their best.

Hosted alongside BMS and Markel, James Chave presented an interactive workshop on Inclusive Hiring. In this session, the experts explored how to address the most pressing challenges in hiring diverse talent, using AI well, navigating global differences, and equipping hiring managers with the tools to make evidence-based decisions.

Mind the Generational Gap: Bridging Differences in the Hybrid Workplace
In a unique moment in history, we find ourselves with five generations coexisting in the workplace. This unique blend of experience and perspective presents both challenges and opportunities shaped by technological advancements and shifting office cultures.
This session examined the challenges and opportunities of creating a hybrid environment that works for colleagues who entered the workforce under very different circumstances. Drawing on insights and experiences from professionals across various age groups and career stages within the insurance industry, the discussion highlighted how generational differences can influence communication, collaboration and workplace expectations.
